Located in the heart of Amsterdam, ARTIS-Micropia is the world's first museum about microbes. It is an interactive science museum where visitors can see something you can see almost nowhere else: microbes. There are over 40 species of living microbes for you to examine under the microscopes at Micropia, and the lab technicians care for these microbes in a real laboratory in the museum.
