Karl Deckart
Karl E. Deckart, a distinguished German photographer and artist, is renowned for his body of work spanning the realms of photography through the microscope and macro camera systems. Holding a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Deckart's portfolio encompasses over 50 published articles in photography journals and an impressive collection of more than 2000 images across diverse mediums such as calendars, posters, television, and commercial videos. His visuals have graced exhibitions and publications in Germany, Greece, India, Japan, and the United States. Throughout his career, Karl has designed and constructed a wide-angle medium-format camera as well as a hand-held 4x5-inch format camera. He has also developed and patented a medium format camera designed specifically for micro/macro photography. An esteemed member of both the German Photography Society (DGPh) and the Royal Microscopical Society, Deckart's contributions continue to demonstrate his skill as a photographer and his understanding of the physical phenomena that surround our everyday lives.
