Small World Pays Tribute to a Legend

Lars Bech, one of Small World’s most celebrated photomicrographers, passed away on March 9, 2011. Hailing from The Netherlands, Lars was a Small World winner eighteen times. He took first place twice, in 1992 and 1996, and finished in the top ten on nine occasions.
