Martin L. Scott is coordinator for biomedical photography at the Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, New York. He has lectured extensively on photomicrography, as well on the sciences (especially chemistry and optics) underlying photography. He is past president of the Biological Photographic Association and a member of the New York Microscopical Society, the State Microscopical Society of Illinois and the Royal Microscopical Society.

James Dvorak is a senior staff scientist in the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institute of Health, Bethesda, MD. He specializes in analysis of cell-to-cell interactions. Dr. Dvorak is an Expert Consultant for the World Health Organization and a member of the Society of Analytical Cytology. He is a recipient of the National Institute of Health Director’s Award.
Roger P. Loveland, M.Sc.
Roger Loveland has devoted over 50 years to the practice of photomicrography. The long-time head of the photomicrography department at Kodak Research Laboratories, he edited the company book on the subject. Dr. Loveland’s research publications included the fields of low power photomicrography, ultraviolet, flash and color photomicrography. In addition to his many articles, Dr. Loveland is the author of the two-volume book “Photomicrography”, R.E. Krieger, 1981. He has received the ASTM Award of Merit, the BPA’s Louis Schmidt Progress Award, and the New York Microscopical Society’s Ernst Abbe Memorial Award.
