William Marin is the photomicrographer for Bookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, Long Island. He has photographed subjects taht cover practically all disciplines of science. His image of the first inter-kingdom fusion between human and plant live appeared in National Geographic and Science Magazines. Brookhaven Lab has recently built a gallery to display his collected works entitled “Microscape.”

Margaret Ryan is photomicrographer in the Department of Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Her work is regularly published in various medical journals and periodicals. She has also tought a graduate level course in biomedical photography at Pratt Institute. Ms Ryan is a past vice-chairman of the New York Chapter of Biological Photographic Association. She also designed and produced the award winning New York Microscopical Society Centennial Yearbook.

Martin L. Scott is coordinator for biomedical photography at the Eastman Kodak Company, Rochester, New York. He has lectured extensively on photomicrography, as well on the sciences (especially chemistry and optics) underlying photography. He is past president of the Biological Photographic Association and a member of the New York Microscopical Society, the State Microscopical Society of Illinois and the Royal Microscopical Society.
